The Heart (and Bust) behind Elansu
Meet the Founder
Hey! I’m Nicola, the founder of Elansu and a women who was so fed up with bad sports bras that I decided to make my own. When I’m not working on Elansu, you can usually find me on a netball court or chasing after my 2 kids (which, counts as cardio right?).
Elansu was born from my own frustration. After years of double-bra duty (yes, two bras for one workout!), endless strap adjustments, and the constant tug-of-war between support and style, I knew enough was enough. Fuller-bust women deserve better. I set out on a mission to create the ultimate high-impact sports bra—not just any sports bra, but one that makes you feel unstoppable!
The Elansu Journey
The journey wasn’t easy. It involved expert designers, ethical manufacturers and determined testers. It took late nights, family sacrifices, tears (happy and sad ones!) and sleepless nights but I did it. I created a bra that’s not just high-performing but also stylish, sustainable, and designed to move with you, no matter how intense the workout. With Elansu, you’re ready to take on anything—and you’ll feel fantastic doing it.

- My guilty pleasure workout song is “HandClap” by Fitz and the Tantrums.
- I would love to have dinner with Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett. Yes, it’s cliché, but I’d love to pick their brains on all things business – who wouldn’t?
- If you knew me from school, you’d be surprised at what I’ve achieved. I was more into making people laugh than being ‘academic’ or a business ‘wuman’, but here we are!
- My favourite way to relax is a long bath while watching re-runs of grey’s anatomy–when I get the time.
